We are the Berger Cosmic Transients Lab at Harvard University. We study cosmic explosions from a multi-wavelength perspective. The study of cosmic transients is a cornerstone of astrophysics, connecting cosmology, star formation, stellar evolution and the origin of the elements. Our work encompasses every aspect of time-domain science, from discovery to classification, to multi-wavelength followup and detailed modeling.
